Work Wonders

And the Work Wonders podcast was born! Managing people is serious business. We bring you all the latest, practical advice without the pain. The podcast is brought to you by Aster HR https://www.asterhr.com.au/ and your hosts are Angela Gauci and Susan Rochester

hi, susan, we're back. Yes, we're back. Spring has sprung and what did you say to me? The work wonders podcast is springing back into action yes, we're back for season six.
Speaker 2:Can you believe it?
Speaker 1:yeah, we've got through a lot of content, haven't't we? A lot of legislation, and what's this, what's that and what does that mean? All those things to do with managing staff. But we're changing things up a bit this season, aren't we? Yep.
Speaker 2:It's time to specialise, to dig deep and dive into some of the more nitty gritty things about managing staff.
Speaker 1:So you'll find us now using each season as a particular topic or theme, if you like. And yeah, you're right, we'll use that to delve deeper and understand that in more detail. And what's our topic for Season 6, susan, it's Employee.
Speaker 2:Engagement and Retention, and I'm just thinking if you've listened to episodes in the previous five seasons. We've touched on this multiple times. We have, but this time you're going to get a lot more detail.
Speaker 1:That's right. Yeah, We'll unpack it, make it really practical for you.
Speaker 2:and why you should care about it, I guess why it's important for your business, definitely, and I think you'll find, as you listen to the episodes in this season, that we're actually touching on all the other topics that we touched on in the previous seasons as well up to a certain extent, would you say.
Speaker 1:it's hard not to do that in our profession. Absolutely One thing refers to another.
Speaker 2:Yeah, exactly. So if you've got employees that you'd like to hang on to, you really need to tune into this season.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you bet, and it all starts from October this year, so we look forward to talking to you soon. See you then.
